“Absolutely perfect from sign in til departing.” – The owners Monica and Paul are extremely upbeat and friendly. You can tell they love their place and it shows in all aspects. Sites are very generous, clean. The pool is immaculate. Always nice to see owners who take pride in their campground. We camped at Forest Ridge Cabins & Campground in a Motorhome.
“Amazing place and people” – Our Girl Scout Troop attended their 2025 Camping Trip and we were welcomed with open arms! The staff is amazing and so kind! The other campers were so welcoming as well during the activities! Awesome place as its so warm and welcoming!
“WOW” – I have been camping for over 30 years and have never seen such a pet friendly campground. The dog park is so amazing I could tell my girls LOVED it. Since so often dogs have to be leashed the entire time while camping they never get to really run. Well let me tell you I have a GSP and she LOVES to run!!!!! Owners are so nice and accommodating, will definitely be returning! Thanks
“Best park I’ve been to in 10 years!” – I have been to west Virginia camping and atving and I can say this is the best park I’ve been to in 10 years! The owners are super friendly and helpful! We have a disabled adult son who loves to ride in our utv on the trails and the owners made everything perfect for him. There are lifts on the hot tub and the giant in ground pool! He loved it and so did we! 5 stars all day long! Also they have 2 dog parks as well for your doggies big and small dog parks! Awesome job by the owners! can’t wait to go again and the price was great
“Very Dog Friendly” – This was our 4th time and this time being under new ownership. We love this campground and the new owners have improved upon what was already great. They are very dog friendly and have a dog park that has a small and large dog side filled with toys. It used to be a horse pasture so it is very large. The horse barn has been converted to a game room that has been well thought out. Between our group we rented 3 cabins. They all were clean and the hot tubs are always a favorite. Thank Monica for your hospitality!

“Definitely recommend” – Had a fantastic solo trip with my dog this weekend. It’s been quite some time that I have been up here and the new owners really have made the feel of the campground like a family. Very outgoing, fun, safe, and the grounds are very clean! My dog loved running free in the dog park and just laying in the grass under one of the trees. The kids there were well behaved and not screaming day and night. While there is the pool, playground, and such… the noise doesn’t travel. The pool looked clean and well taken care of. I honestly can’t wait to go back again. I felt welcomed where other campgrounds and state parks can make you feel lost and invisible when it comes to needs, questions, activities, etc. This campground is great for all ages. Definitely recommend!
“Highly Recommend” – Spent 4 nights & I’m very happy that we chose this place to spend our anniversary. Swimming pool was perfect temperature, game room was fun. All staff were very friendly & welcoming. My dogs loved the dog park. Plus they offer a punch card towards free nights. Highly recommend
